Susan Williams focuses her on practice on motion picture financing, with broad experience in the legal and business aspects of complex debt and equity transactions for single pictures as well as multipicture and overall company financings. Her clients are financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals, completion guarantors, distributors and producers.
Ms. Williams is experienced in structuring and advising on domestic and international tax-advantaged, subsidy, co-production and other soft money transactions; film securitizations; large senior secured credit facilities; gap financing deals and equity investments in films and/or film companies. She also has broad experience in general entertainment matters, including the distribution, acquisition and selling of motion pictures both domestically and internationally.
Ms. Williams has been interviewed about film finance issues for various trade publications, including Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.
